SnapSlip

SnapSlip - Model Release Spray

SnapSlip Model Release Spray is a silicone based material which has been developed to overcome the problem of friction generated by excessive expansion of die stones during the setting period.

When die stones are mixed according to the manufacturers instructions, that is to say, powder and liquid is measured to ensure that the correct ratio is achieved, the die stone will expand within fixed and finite limits.
However, not everyone has the facility, or the inclination, to ensure that the correct, ideal, ratio is obtained. If excessive expansion of die stone is experienced when using the Krystal Model Tray System it can manifest itself by causing the model tray tongue to be tight and difficult to remove for the first time.

Spraying all surfaces of the Krystal tongue with SnapSlip, before pouring the die stone, will provide a stay-resident non-intrusive lubricant which will facilitate the removal and re-insertion of the tongue after the die stone has set.
