Krystal Casting Tongue

In a busy laboratory it is not always possible to ensure that the die stone has been mixed to the ratios recommended by the manufacturer. Incorrect ratios of powder to liquid can cause excessive expansion of the die stone during the setting phase which will make replacing the tongue difficult.

To overcome this  die stone expansion a special tongue has been produced to accommodate the excessive expansion.

Use the orange casting tongue when pouring the model and after the model has been sectioned and replaced into the tray use the white working tongue to retain the model.

The orange SnapEze Tongue has been produced at a calculated thickness to eliminate the effects of excessive die stone expansion.
